Specially designed for large flow and heavy duty working condition. Adopting integral speed increasing gearbox structure, with semi-open three-way flow impeller and adjustable guide vane (IGV) technology. The adiabatic efficiency is as high as 84%, widely used in power desulfurization, smelting blast furnace and chemical process.

Working Principle

The gas is sucked in axially, thrown out and accelerated by the high-speed rotating impeller, and finally decelerated and pressurized in the worm shell.

1. Axial air intake (Intake)

The gas is drawn in axially from the center of the impeller (impeller eye) and the flow is regulated by the inlet guide vane (IGV).

2. Centrifugal acceleration

The high-speed rotating impeller throws the gas out in the radial direction, and the gas obtains extremely high kinetic energy and centrifugal force.

3. Discharge

In the worm-gear diffuser, the gas flow rate is reduced and the kinetic energy is efficiently converted into pressure energy, which is ultimately discharged at high pressure.

Non-contact seal ensures oil-free air. Optional carbon ring seal available.

IGV guide vane

Inlet adjustable guide vanes for precise pre-rotation of airflow and improved part-load efficiency.
