Air Foil Bearing Principle
The heart of an air suspension blower is its bearing system. The viscous force of the air brought in by the high speed rotation of the rotor is utilized to form a high pressure film of air between the rotor and the foil, which “lifts” the rotor.
Start-stop phase (contact)
At lower speeds, the rotor is in contact with the Teflon coated top foil. Due to the lubrication of the coating, friction is minimal.
Acceleration phase (dynamic pressure building)
As the speed increases, air is brought into the gap. The wave foil deforms elastically and the air film pressure begins to build up.
High-speed operation (full suspension)
High pressure air film completely lifts the rotor after speed exceeds 3000 RPM. The 100% achieves non-contact operation with zero wear.

Motor efficiencies up to 97% or more. Rotor direct drive, no speed increasing gears, no couplings, eliminating transmission losses. Small size and great power density.
Air Foil Bearings
Patented design of wave and top foil construction with nano-scale Teflon wear-resistant coating. Start-stop test life of over 20,000 cycles, semi-permanent operating life.

Each unit is equipped with PLC intelligent control system and touch screen as standard. Built-in “one key start-stop”, “constant pressure / constant current / constant speed” multiple control modes.
